Unlike synthetic microfiber blankets that trap sweat, its loose, breathable weave allows natural airflow while providing just the right warmth for 22°C–26°C AC bedrooms and mild weather.
Fresh off traditional pitlooms, genuine staple cotton holds a natural plant-based sizing starch used by weavers to maintain tension on the looms. This washes out completely on the very first cold-water wash, revealing the chadar’s signature crinkled, cloud-soft texture that gets softer with every use.
Our standard single chadar measures approximately 50 × 95 inches (127 × 240 cm). It offers generous length to cover an adult comfortably head-to-toe with plenty of tuck-in room for a single bed or divan.
